Government to raise electricity prices during peak hours

The government is considering raising electricity prices during peak hours to avoid spending L.E. 17 billion to balance deficit in 2 peak hours daily. 

That was announced by Dr. Eng. Hassan Younis, Egypt's Minister of Electricity & Energy indicating that electricity prices to households were kept unchanged since 2008.
